Led by Bishop Steve O. Campbell, PhD, this ministry exists to develop believers, reach the lost, and serve the community with the love of Christ.
What We Believe
We believe the Holy Scriptures are divinely inspired and trustworthy; in one God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; and that Jesus is Lord. Salvation is found through His death, shed blood, and resurrection.
Statement of Faith
The Holy Scriptures, as given by God, are divinely inspired, entirely trustworthy, and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and practice.
There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus is Lord, and salvation is found in no other.
Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh; we affirm His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, and atoning death.
Jesus Christ rose bodily from the dead, will personally return, and will judge the world.
All have sinned and are justly exposed to the wrath of God.
Redemption from the guilt, penalty, and power of sin is possible only through the death, shed blood, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit makes the saving work of Christ effective to each sinner, granting repentance and faith, and enabling believers to live holy lives, witness, and work for Him.
We believe in the resurrection of the body, the eternal blessedness of the righteous, and the eternal punishment of the wicked.
Every believer is baptized into the body of Christ by the Holy Spirit and is responsible for keeping the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, loving one another with a pure heart.
BISHOP’S BIOGRAPHY
Bishop Steve O. Campbell, PhD
Senior Pastor and President of Word of Life Ministries, Inc. · President and CEO of Word of Life Community Development Corporation.
Born in Jamaica, West Indies, Bishop Campbell accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at age nine and was called to ministry at fifteen. He was ordained in 1980 and studied theology at the Jamaican Theological Seminary.
After immigrating to the United States in 1984, Bishop Campbell continued his education, including studies at American Management Institute, Liberty University, and Faith Bible College.
In 1995, he founded Word of Life Ministries, Inc., a nonprofit ministry based in Brick, New Jersey, with more than twenty ministry areas and fellowship both nationally and internationally.
Bishop Campbell is committed to developing believers to stand in their position for Christ and to reaching the lost at any cost through humble service and brotherly love.
